Welcome to Limitless! 

Is the world coming to an end in 2024, or why is everyone getting married???😳 I didn’t get the memo.  Okay okay. I digress. That’s not why I’m here.

I’m just here to wake you who has been falling asleep spiritually. 

Trust me, I’m not here to judge or point fingers. 

Have I had my hot and cold moments this year? Yes ma’am. I’ve had moments where I felt like I was literally close to God and at his literal feet this year. I’ve had moments where I could feel my heart almost exploding from how real being in the presence of Jesus was. I’m such a lover of God’s presence. I’ve had encounters: Encounters that have left an indelible mark on me. Right. 

Let’s continue. 

Meanwhile, I’ve also had moments where I would doze through my morning devotion; you know, because the flesh is weak right?

Pause. We tend to forget that though the flesh is weak, the Spirit is always willing. Therefore, I understand that because I am born of the Spirit, it is possible for me to put the deeds of the flesh to death.

I connected to praying in the Spirit with my church on a Friday midnight. Amidst praying, I began to doze off. At that moment, something flashed in my mind: “The devil will do anything to make sure that I don’t pray this night”. That realization fueled my resolve. Scripture says “resist the devil and he will flee”. I tell you, my eyes were clear for the rest of the prayer call. 

Do you know one thing that is worse than being cold spiritually? I’d tell you. It is failing to admit that you are getting cold. It is pretending that all is normal. 

If I’m going to be lying to anyone in this world, I should definitely not lie to myself because why deceive myself? 

First, there’s no way that you would be a child of God  and the Holy Spirit won’t convict you when something is off. He definitely will. 

If you’re sensitive, you’d know. You might choose to ignore, but there will surely be a check that you are not on the right track. 

Now, the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. 

Then, you would also know that your spiritual life is off when you are not reading the Word like you used to, not praying like you used to, ignoring the leading of the Holy Spirit. 

Sometimes, we struggle so much with “how can I get back on track? I used to be so strong spiritually, will it ever go back to that way?” 

How about you have a honest conversation to God about this? Tell Him the whole story, tell Him about your uncertainties and where you think you got it all wrong if you remember. 

Trust me, He never left you. He is right in you just waiting.
