Beyond Valentine Packages: The Perfect Valentine’s Gift

Valentine’s Day, the perfect opportunity to reaffirm your love for your partner through your words, gifts and gestures. 

Do you have a Val yet? Do people even still choose Vals or has it become an unspoken tradition? If you are in a relationship, it automatically means your partner is your Val right? Are you looking forward to Val’s day? 

For my singles who are single SINGLE, you know what I mean? I have something special coming for you, so don’t let anyone pressure you or make you feel bad about being single in this Valentine’s season! 

For my singles who have “crushes” i.e. you like someone, and you guys have been talking. I want to probe the minds of some of you. You shouldn’t just be secretly hoping that the other person gets you something while you aren’t planning to buy anything for them. You get the drift? 

Anyway, I’m here to tell you that this Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to shoot your shot in the form of a gift or a gesture. 

For my lovers, the ones in relationships. Make sure you read till the end! 

In case, you are reading this and you believe there is nothing special about Valentine’s. Let me just tell you now that it is in fact very special. 

I mean, it is the day LOVE, which binds your relationship, is being celebrated worldwide, so, how isn’t it special? Also, if your partner finds it special, then, what are you waiting for? Compromise is one of the spines of a good relationship. 

Enough said. 

Here, are some gift ideas for St. Valentine’s Day:

1. A personalized gift 

Research has shown that most people like personalized gifts more than random gifts. 

The gift can be anything at all within your budget, but you can personalize it by adding a note. 

Think about it, which would you like more? A random chocolate or your favorite chocolate? Imagine they now add the cherry on top by adding a love note! Oh my days!😂

 Personalizing a Valentine’s gift shows how thoughtful you are. 

Another way you could personalize is getting them something sentimental; something that has meaning. It could be related to a place you both visited, a hobby or just whatever you think would mean something to them or to you both.

2. A jar filled with notes 

You could buy a jar and fill it with sweet love notes. For instance, it could be ‘14 reasons why I love you’. Then, tell them to open one a day till the end of February! I would faint if you did that for me😂 (just kidding).

3. A Need 

I don’t know it it’s just me but getting a gift related to what they need speaks volumes. It’s like “I know you need this thing, I was listening when you said you needed it, so this is it”. It might not even be something they said they needed, but something you know they need, you get me? 

It could be a tool box, something for their business, a kitchen kit, a car kit, a journal, foodstuff, and so on. Just whatever you know they need. 

I’m not saying buy something that is above your budget. In fact, don’t do more than yourself. Make sure whatever gift you want to buy is what you can afford. 

4. A Valentine’s Package 

I know there are so many Valentine packages. For instance, there is this one👏🙌😂. 

This is for the rich rich people. But, I’m sure there are a lot of packages that are within your budget.

What you don’t want to do is getting something random or useless. For instance why would you buy an iPhone 12 Pro Max for me when I have one? I know I can sell it but it just misses the point of a gift. Am I being choosy?😂Well, that’s the truth. 

Do you know what is beyond getting a valentine package?- Getting a well-curated one is. You want to make sure you get a package that shows you were really thinking about them, not a bunch of random things.
