Top 7 movies you should watch this Season

If you are like me who likes to just curl up and watch a good movie, or read a good book after a long day, welcome to Limitless!

Here are the top 7 movies you should watch this season.

7. A California Christmas

You’ve probably come across a story like this. Cliche, but who cares? We already know the ending, we just want to see how the events unfold. This story has a gripping plot though.

A wealthy guy poses as a farmhand to convince a country girl to sell her farmland. What happens when she discovers he’s been fooling her?🤔 Trust me, I would have slept off before the first half if I didn’t like it.

Add it to your watchlist. The second part is out, and to be honest, it’s mid. There isn’t much drama, and I like drama! I didn’t like the way it started off too. Some movies are better left at part 1! However, since the first part is nice, I suggest you watch it.

6. A Naija Christmas

A woman with three problematic sons wants a grandchild. Will she get what she wants? This is that kind of movie that will make you want to see what happens next. It captures your attention with the series of drama.

I laughed my head off with Efe Iwara’s silly proposal. What was that cape?😂😂😂 He even put a crown on the poor girl’s head. Why?😂😂 A public proposal for goodness sake!😂 However, I’m not done watching it because I got tired. I will pick up later. You should see it though.

5. The Princess Switch

Imagine seeing your doppelgänger the next time you go out. What will you do? I will probably wipe my eyes to take a good look, and screammm, cos whatttt!!😂

Anyway, this movie is very interesting. There are three parts: The Princess Switch, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, and The Princess Switch: Romancing the Star. The acting is so superb, it will put you in all your feels.

This movie is the sixth on my list because the third part just didn’t flow for me. I had to stop. But I can vouch for the first and second parts!

4. Crash Landing on You

You are probably wondering how I sneaked this in here😂. Yes, it’s a series, and it’s Korean. Trust me, you would love it! The plot, the acting, the costume, the setting, the loveee. Single people, brace yourselves😂. Everything is just on point. I love the female lead so much.

A wealthy businesswoman from South Korea goes paragliding. The weather disrupts everything, and she finds herself in North Korea. Watch it to see how the story unfolds.

This series is 10 over 10 for me. It’s one of the best Korean series I’ve ever watched if not the best. If you want to binge watch this Christmas season, just look for this series and enjoy. If you don’t like it, feel free to come and arrest me😂. But, I’m so sure you would love it.

3. Jumping the broom

This is what people mean when they say, DRAMA! Chaos! The movie is quite old but it’s still on point. You would get to see how some African-Americans who have class bias think. Clash of traditions and opinions. This is one must-watch if you haven’t.

2. Ophelia

Remember Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet? This movie is in Ophelia’s point of view. Power, pretense, witchcraft, mystery. It will probably make you scrunch your brows in confusion. However, the ambiguity will make you love it more.

1. Drug Lords

I still can’t believe I didn’t know the full stories of El-Chapo and Pablo Escobar. They really thought they were above the law👀. Well, they were, to an extent. If you’ve seen this series, who do you think was more menacing? Pablo or El Chapo?

I really want to salute those who put this docu-series together. They did such an outstanding job. The series is the truth! What makes it even more thrilling is that the stories happened for real. Oh boy! El Chapo, Pablo Escobar, The Pettinghill Clan, The Cali Cartel… I loved Crack Queen of L.A most.

This series is absolutely binge-worthy! Check it out!!!
